
(August 7, 2021) – Director Adam Orton, has won a prestigious Award of Excellence from the IndieFEST Film Awards for his work on the short science fiction film, The Aspirant. The Aspirant is about the pleasures and perils of romance in the future world of New California. With a script written by Michael A. Levine (who also scored the film), The Aspirant features memorable performances by Talia Goodman and Michael Cortez, and seamless integration of sophisticated VFX as directed by Orton.
